Jazz Nights by Familia Torres: April Gallo

We get it: no one likes Mondays. Having something to look forward to at the end of the day can help ease you into the working week, however, and Jazz Nights by Famliia Torres, part of Time Out Market Barcelona’s free cultural programme, is here to help. Every Monday at 7pm, the market plays host to this series of free concerts, where you can also enjoy a delicious bite to eat and a couple of drinks to toast to the week ahead.

On November 18, it’s singer April Gallo’s turn to take to the stage, joining forces with guitarist Rafa ‘Visca’ Viscardi. This electrifying duo breaks the mould of traditional jazz, performing beautiful acoustic covers of everything from soul to bossa nova, from Brazilian hits to local favourites. This promises to be a treat for the ears (and the tastebuds too, if you enjoy some of the Market’s spectacular gastronomical offerings while you’re at it).
