Cod Snacks. Cod is for the Portuguese what herring is for the Dutch, but when it comes to the versatility of recipes, cod wins. Proof of this is this small stand of Terra do Bacalhau at the Market where, in addition to the traditional cod pastries, you can taste things like fried cod skin, a real specialty, cod humus or various other recipes on top of a toasted bread.
